Our preseason countdown continues:

No. 6: Reggie Corbin, RB

Why he's important: The shakeup in Illinois' running back depth chart last season included Corbin. While Kendrick Foster vaulted himself to the No. 1 spot, Corbin also passed fellow Class of 2015 recruit Ke'Shawn Vaughn, who ultimately transferred to Vanderbilt following last season. After redshirting the 2015 season following a shoulder injury in training camp, Corbin rushed 86 times for 523 yards and two touchdowns last fall. His 6.08 yards per carry average was 14th in the nation among freshmen and the best by an Illini freshman since at least 2000.
