Nov. 25 Illinois basketball chat

The Illinois men's basketball team escaped Springfield with a buzzer-beating win against Chicago State, saving the Illini from what would have been one of the worst losses for the program — perhaps of all time. Jalen Coleman-Lands' game-winning three-pointer also kept Illinois from its first 1-4 start since the 1906-07 season. It's safe to say the Springfield experiment didn't really pan out. Marcus Jackson will be answering any questions you have about the Illini at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Like ... Why do teams make so many three-pointers against Illinois? Will Jaylon Tate and/or Kendrick Nunn return soon? How will the rest of the nonconference go?
