Stanley Green has been committed to the Illinois football program since December 6, 2015. He is a big time commitment and the Illini are going to use him a lot in the next four years.
Rivals has Green rated as a 3-star recruit and is ranked as the 36th best player in the state of Illinois.
Green chose the Illini over teams like Iowa State and Missouri. He is going to be a great asset for a defensive backfield that is going to be thin this upcoming season.
Another late commitment in the class of 2016 is Evan Jones.
