Casey Washington decided to end his recruitment and commit to the Illini. He is a 6-foot-2, 175-pound wide receiver from Pflugerville High School in Pflugerville, Texas. He is rated as a three-star recruit who is the No. 1454 player in the class of 2019 and the No. 170 wide receiver in the nation.
There were a decent number of programs who were looking at Washington, but he picked Illinois over teams like Tulane and Kansas. This was a pick up for the Illini that should help the team down the road at the wide receiver position.
