This class is extremely important for the future of this Illini program. Not only will 2018 bring players who will help build the foundation for future victories, but it will also help show the Illini fan base what type of recruiting power this coaching staff possesses.
There are many players in the class of 2018 who haven’t committed. Illinois has targeted a multitude of recruits and some have already pledged their word to other programs, but there are a couple handfuls of talented players who are still the main focus for Underwood and the coaching staff.
Each of these players could help the Illinois basketball program out tremendously with their great athletic ability or their amazing shooting prowess.
