Feliz was a great pick up from the junior college ranks. He was supposed to be a depth piece for the Illini. I was expecting him to come in and give us some time while putting up okay numbers. That wasn’t the case in year one, though.
I was extremely impressed with Feliz last season. He averaged 8.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Those were numbers that exceeded my expectations. Heading into the current campaign, I was wanting to see a slight bump in those numbers, and I have through 12 games.
Currently, Felix is averaging 12.
