ILLINI LEGENDS, LISTS & LORE | March 18

Happy 34th Birthday to former Illini tennis and current ATP World Tour standout Rajeev Ram.

He's currently the world's 21st-ranked doubles player, once rated as high as 11th in July 2017. As a singles player, Ram rose to a ranking of fifty-sixth in April 2016.

Altogether, the Denver-born Illinois alumnus has won 15 ATP World Tour titles—13 in doubles and two in singles. In tennis major events, Ram has been a doubles semifinalist at Wimbledon (2016) and the U.S. Open (2014), and a mixed doubles semifinalist in the French Open (2017) and U.S. Open (2016).

He also won a Silver medal in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro mixed doubles with tennis legend Venus Williams.
