Player of the Game: Illinois’ Geronimo Allison
He joined the list of late-game Illini receiver heroes that includes Jim Klein and Steven Williams, catching Wes Lunt’s touchdown pass in the final seconds. He finished with eight catches for 91 yards and showed again he is a capable replacement for Mikey Dudek as Illinois’ go-to receiver.
