EUGENE, Ore. — Illinois senior-to-be Charlie Danielson climbed the Pacific Coast Amateur Championship leaderboard on Thursday’s final day, jumping from a tie for 15th to finish tied for eighth.
Danielson recorded his best round in three days, shooting 1 under at Eugene Country Club to finish at 2 over for the event.
He finished 6 strokes behind co-winners Bryson DeChambeau of Southern Methodist and Will Zalatoris of Wake Forest.
