OGDEN, Utah—Marianna Petrei and Felipe Fonseca swept this week's Big Sky Tennis Players of the Week honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. The pair finished the season undefeated in the Big Sky, helping their respective team to first-round byes at this week's Big Sky Tournament.
Petrei, a sophomore from Udine, Italy, helped Idaho seal the No. 2 seed in the tournament going unbeaten over the weekend at No. 1 singles and doubles. Hosting Montana Saturday, Petrei and Lucia Badillos capped a sweep of doubles play with a 6-2 decision over Hannah Sulz and Catherine Orfanos.
