SPOKANE, Washington - Idaho Track and Field concluded its 2024 indoor season this weekend at the Big Sky Championships at The Podium in Spokane, Washington. The Vandal men finished in third place scoring 69 total points and the women finished in fourth place with 64.
Sophomore Mia Sylvester earned her second career Big Sky title with a win in the women's weight throw on Saturday. Sylvester threw a personal-best 21.00m in her final attempt and stands atop the Idaho record books nearly three meters farther than Aloha Santiago's 2003 mark of 18.67.
Noah Culbertson took home his first Big Sky title throwing 18.
