South Florida tight end Sean Price has a private workout with the Texans on Friday in Florida, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.
Price worked out for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at their local prospect workout. He has also drawn interest from several other NFL teams, including the Baltimore Ravens.
Price had no official visits with NFL teams.
A second-team all-conference selection, the 6-3, 245-pound team captain caught 19 passes for 296 yards and five touchdowns last season.
Price holds the school record for tight ends with 75 career receptions for 897 yards.
