Texans QB C.J. Stroud gives back to Ohio State NIL collective

The former Ohio State standout donated to The Foundation, a Name, Image and Likeness collective that he directly benefited from as a player. It's not public what Stroud's exact donation number was, but his one-time Platinum Donor status indicates that it was somewhere between $50,000-$100,000. The donation was also made during a time that the board would match all donations to the collective.

According to The Foundation, Stroud is the first former athlete to become a major donor for the collective. This is also one of the first times a major athlete has publicly donated to a collective that impacts their former team, per The Athletic.
