Texans' NFL draft plans come into focus after trade for Stefon Diggs

While the Houston Texans' recent trade for Buffalo Bills star Stefon Diggs has bolstered their Super Bowl hopes for the 2024 season, the impact of the four-time Pro Bowler's arrival should be felt in the coming weeks.

Prior to acquiring Diggs, the Texans appeared to be on the lookout for another top-tier receiving threat—evidenced by their failed pursuit of Keenan Allen earlier this offseason. With one of the NFL's top WRs coming to Houston, this need has been eliminated, bringing two positions to the forefront as the NFL draft approaches.

The Texans don't own a first-round pick in this year's draft, which will take place April 25-27.
