In Houston to distribute free barbecue and donate supplies for hurricane victims along with his wife, Devi, Brown emphasized that he does want to play this season. However, the former first-round draft pick didn't indicate any specific timetable for when this impasse might end.
"I'm not going to get into that too much," Brown said at Hutcheson Park during an event attended by his Houston-based agent, Kennard McGuire and former Texans offensive tackles Chester Pitts and Ephraim Salaam.
