Breaking into a wry smile when asked to react to his former Broncos teammates saying they want to kill him in his high-profile return to Denver with his new team, Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler joked: "It sounds like they miss me."
Osweiler acknowledged the significance of him playing against the Broncos for the first time since leaving as a free agent and signing a four-year, $72 million contract that included $37 million guaranteed.
"I'm not blind to that," he said. "It's about removing outside distractions."
Osweiler has thrown eight interceptions for the season and been fairly erratic, but did lead a comeback win over the Indianapolis Colts where he threw two touchdown passes Sunday night.
