There is far too much time between now and the start of training camp to close the book on the Houston Texans' offseason. The NFL Draft will be critical in determining how much better the Texans are from the end of last season.
But we love a good way-too-early debate. It's just too tempting for us not to react in the moment, while allowing for new information to change our opinions.
Barring something completely unexpected, like a drastic forced departure, this is already a better football team than it was in 2023. Not by much, but it is better.
