These are my favorite opening lines to any album, and they’re sung in the beginning of Tellin Lies, the first track on The Menzinger’s newest album After the Party. It’s an incredible opening track to an album that has carried on the torch of 2016’s best year of music into 2017. It’s filled with time tempo changes, perfect uses of whoas and OHos, and sets the stage for the rest of the album.
