Both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have former Texans players on their roster for Sunday's Super Bowl, though the most notable Houston connections might be on one team's coaching staff.
The 49ers lost assistants DeMeco Ryans and Bobby Slowik to the Texans last offseason, with Ryans winning the Pro Football Writer's Coach of the Year award and both finishing as finalists for Associated Press honors. But even with Ryans and Slowik gone, the San Francisco coaching staff still has strong Houston ties.
