The oppressive heat of August in Houston will be far away from the Texans at this summer’s training camp. They’ll kick off their preparations for the 2017 campaign at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia. The average daily high temperature there in August is 82 degrees.

But aside from a cooler climate, Texans cornerback Johnathan Joseph pointed to a different positive from going to camp on the road.

“I think it brings you closer as a team and it brings that one-ness, that togetherness that you’re looking for,” the 11-year veteran said.
