An Alvin woman and her son found out on Friday night that J.J. Watt is cooler than they ever imagined.
According to a Facebook post by resident Gerri Topinka Fuhrmann, she and her son were walking home from a high school football game at Alvin Memorial Stadium Friday night when a man approached them in a vehicle just after 9:45 p.m.
Fearing the worst on a dark street, the woman writes that she held her 12-year-old son tight. The man asked if she could stop and she told him no. There were no streetlights, with the only light available from the stadium some three blocks away.
