Houston DT B.J. Singleton on NFL teams' radar

University of Houston defensive tackle B.J. Singleton has worked out for the Texans at their local prospect day and visited or worked out for the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets, according to a source not authorized to speak publicly.

He's drawing interest from the New England Patriots, Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.

Singleton is 6-3, 313 pounds and bench pressed 225 pounds 26 times at the Cougars' Pro Day workout.

He played in the East-West Shrine all-star game and was a second-team all-conference selection.

Singleton tied a school record with 53 games played in a row and finished his career with 77 tackles, 8 1/2 for losses, 4 1/2 sacks and one interception.
