Houston Dash midfielder Morgan Brian and goalkeeper Jane Campbell were selected by U.S. Women’s National Team head coach Jill Ellis for the 23-player roster prior to the 2017 SheBelieves Cup, U.S. Soccer announced today.
Additionally, midfielder Carli Lloyd, currently with Manchester City and scheduled to return to Houston in June, was also selected by Ellis for the tournament which, for the second consecutive year, will feature four of the world’s top-five ranked teams in the USA (1), Germany (2), France (3) and England (5).
Brian has earned 63 caps with the USWNT and won the Golden Ball as the most outstanding player at the CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying Championship last February.
