A great start from some lower division soccer here in the city of Houston. This week we had the Houston Dutch Lions F.C. and the Houston Regals SCA. both from the NPSL (National Premier Soccer League).

Kicking off the week we had the Houston Dutch Lions F.C. taking on the NTX Rayados from the NTPSA (North Texas Premier Soccer Association) in the first round of the 2017 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup. The first half saw both teams feeling each other out with the Dutch Lions looking like the more threatening side before the halftime whistle.
