It was a fairly quite match between rival MLS clubs the Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City. Each side scored two goals to end their time at the Desert Diamond Cup with a draw.
Kansas City got on the scoreboard first thanks to a set piece goal. Nuno Andre Coelho finished the set piece off with a header that went right past Calle Brown to give SKC a1-0 lead in the 16th minute.
In the 31st minute Jalil Anibaba put a long cross into the box that was then headed down by Giles Barnes.
