Kevin Garcia's road to MLS has been longer than others, so he savored his debut on Saturday a little bit longer than most.
Picked by the New England Revolution in the 2012 MLS Supplemental Draft, the Dynamo defender has played in Ireland and for two teams in Sweden before coming back to the United States.
Garcia, 26, arrived in the Dynamo organization last year when he signed a USL contract to play with Rio Grande Valley FC. Late in the season the Dynamo signed him to an MLS contract when they were dealing with several injuries to their back line players.
