Dynamo legend Brad Davis to retire

A Dynamo legend is hanging up his boots for good at the end of this season.

Brad Davis on Sunday morning announced he will retire from professional soccer at the conclusion of the 2016 season. The original Dynamo player spent this year with Sporting Kansas City after Houston traded him so he could finish his career closer to his hometown.

Davis, 34, played 10 seasons with the Dynamo from 2006-2015, winning MLS Cup titles his first two years.

He used his magical left foot to deliver 104 assists - the most in club history by more than 80.
