The Dash have added more Brazilian influence to their roster.
The NWSL club this week signed center back Bruna Benites to fill one of two remaining international roster spots. The Dash acquired an extra international spot in a trade with the Boston Breakers on Tuesday.
"We are very excited about signing Bruna," Waldrum said. "She is a very tall and athletic center back with quality international experience," Waldrum said. "She's also a veteran pro who will bring some much needed experience to our back line."
Benites was a member of the 2012 and 2016 Brazilian Olympic teams.
