The Dash continued to fortify their back line Friday with the signing of former Bayern Munich defender Claire Falknor.
Falknor played nine games with the German club last year. It was her first professional season after playing for the University of Florida from 2012-15. She also had two appearances for the U.S. Under-23 National Team in 2015.
Dash coach Randy Waldrum said he liked her coming out of college and that she likely would have been a high pick in the NWSL draft.
"She is so skillful, and a technical player," Waldrum said. "She fits the mode of the type of players we are getting.
