Can Singleton, ever play well enough to get called up to Houston?
Clearly the Tyler White experiment as the Houston Astros first baseman was not a solution. A hot start for the rookie has turned into an ice cold performance. Several choices in the minor leagues, Jon Singleton is one heavy hitter the Astros might want to see again.
It's not definitive what Singleton will become. He could very well end up as a legend at the minor league level never able to crack a big league roster for more than a poor season. Singleton has tasted the big leagues already in parts of two seasons.
