Valdez dazzles behind Tucker’s HR as Astros beat the Rangers, 2-1

Tonight, the Astros looked to bounce back after being shutout last night. They faced off against former Astros, Jordan Lyles.

The Astros got on the board in the second inning when Kyle Tucker connected on a 2 run HR, his 9th of the season, to give the Astros an early 2-0 lead.

Framber Valdez got the start for the Astros and was dominant. His first 6 innings he allowed no runs and just 3 hits while striking out 10. He came out for the 7th and struck out Odor to start the inning before allowing a double and being pulled for Josh James.
