Santos wild debut with Corpus Christi, is in the books

RHP Juan Santos made his first appearance at the Double-A level Wednesday night. After yielding 2 runs on 2 hits and 2 wild pitches in the 5th, Santos posted a perfect 6th to cap his 2-inning outing.

The 20-year-old from Bayamon, PR, joined the club Tuesday from extended spring training. He posted a 3.16 ERA in 20 assignments for Tri-City last season, issuing 24 walks against 28 strikeouts in 25 2/3 innings pitched.
