Houston BBWAA recognizes Altuve, Devenski, McHugh

Devenski was named the team's Pitcher of the Year and Rookie of the Year after his breakout season in the bullpen. Devenski, who didn't make the Opening Day roster, posted a 2.16 ERA in 48 appearances (five starts) and set team rookie reliever records in ERA (1.61) and WHIP (0.92).

McHugh was named the winner of the Darryl Kile Award, which is presented to the player chosen as the most affable with teammates, fans and the media. McHugh was 13-10 with a 4.34 ERA in 2016, once again finishing strong with a 4-0 record and 2.45 ERA in his last six starts.
