The Houston Astros have navigated their way to an 8-10 record and a third-place hold in the AL West standings. Considering all that they’ve gone through, they’re still hanging on — hopefully not be a thread — to try to make the most of their 2020 campaign.
This said campaign has been beset by an immense amount of injuries to the pitching staff, anemic offense at times and their fight to prove to the sports world that they’re legitimately talented enough to be associated with the word “contender.
