Astros' triple play the turning point vs. Tigers

The Astros escaped a jam in most impressive fashion in their matinee contest Saturday against the Tigers, turning a 5-4-3 triple play to end the fifth inning.

With Detroit holding a 2-1 lead and runners on first and second, Ian Kinsler grounded to third baseman Jonathan Villar. After forcing Hernan Perez, he tossed to Jose Altuve to retire Anthony Gose at second base. Altuve's throw to first baseman Chris Carter was in time to retire Kinsler.
