Astros Trade for Another Arm

How bad is it for the Astros’ pitching staff that they are taking cast offs from the Orioles, of all teams.

Today the Astros traded for Hector Velzquez in exchange for a player to be named later. He has three previous years in the majors, all with the Red Sox. In 2019 his ERA was 5.43 in 56.1 innings. In 2018 He was apparently much more effective, maintaining at 3.18 ERA in 85 innings, with eight starts.
