Astros infielder named Appalachian League Player of the Week

Greeneville Astros infielder Miguel Angel Sierra has been named the Appalachian League Player of the Week by MiLB.com for the week of July 4-July 10. Over five games during that span, Sierra batted .500 (9-for-18) with six runs scored, one triple, five home runs, five RBI, two walks, and a stolen base with an OBP of .571, SLG of 1.444 and OPS of 2.016.

This marks the seventh time in club history a member of the Greeneville Astros has earned league player of the week honors. Last season, the Astros had two players receive the honor when first baseman Connor Goedert and outfielder Hector Roa did so in back-to-back weeks in July.
