Astros' Gomez exits with hamstring strain

HOUSTON -- Astros center fielder Carlos Gomez left Wednesday's game against the Yankees in the second inning with a right hamstring strain.

Gomez was removed from the game after he had an RBI single and stole second base in the second inning, and he was replaced by Jake Marisnick. The Astros, who have mostly been healthy this year, lost infielder Luis Valbuena to a right hamstring strain in Tuesday's game.

Astros manager A.J. Hinch said prior to Wednesday's game he didn't think Valbuena's hamstring strain would require a trip to the disabled list.
