Astros’ Bullpen Implodes; Series Headed To Game Five

With just six outs to go the Houston bullpen allowed five runs in a long eighth innings to send the series to a winner-take-all game five in Kansas City.

Will Harris allowed three straight singles to the start the 8th inning, setting the plate for Lorenzo Cain. Cain hit a ball off Tony Sipp’s ball which appeared to head towards Carlos Correa’s glove. However, the ball took a tough spin and went right past Correa, giving the Royals two runs with no one out. Another 30-or-so minutes later and the Royals had given themselves a one-run lead heading to the bottom of the 8th inning.
