After breaking their losing streak with the second game of the doubleheader yesterday, the Astros looked to turn it into a winning streak tonight.
George Springer got the game started off with a bang when he crushed a leadoff HR to left center field to put the Astros up 1-0 early.
Luisa Garcia made his first career start (second career appearance) and pitched well. He finished tossing 5 scoreless innings while allowing just 1 hit and picking up four strikeouts.
In the top of the 6th inning, Yuli Gurriel added to the Astros lead with a solo HR of his own to make it 2-0.
