2020 Series Preview: San Francisco Giants @ Houston Astros

The Giants arrive in town after losing two straight series against the Dodgers and Rockies and holding steady at 4th in the NL West. San Francisco was never really expected to compete much in this season, especially after star catcher Buster Posey opted out, and so far have lived up to that non-expectation. Of course, it doesn’t help that they’re in the same division as two of the best teams in the NL.

The Giants’ biggest problem this season has probably been the starting pitching. They’re the only team in MLB who does not have a quality start yet this season, though that is at least partially due to a slow ramp up for their starters according to manager Gabe Kapler.
