Stefan Jovanovic of the University of Hawai’i basketball team was named to the Big West Academic All-Conference team on Tuesday.
The junior center was one of 13 players in the conference selected to the team. According to information from the Big West Conference, “To be eligible for the All-Academic team, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, have
attained a sophomore standing academically and competed in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.”
Jovanovic, who is from Kraljevo, Serbia, was listed as a General Arts & Sciences major as a sophomore last season.
