Who will survive the Packers' final cut?

Green Bay — Five players from the Green Bay Packers' nine-man draft class of 2014 went into training camp needing to put up or go home.

To various degrees, they all had been on scholarship as rookies. The NFL's version, of course, is anything but automatically renewable.

The bell probably will toll for more than one by 3 p.m. Saturday when the Packers must trim their roster to 53 players.

Defensive linemen Letroy Guion (three-game suspension) and Datone Jones (one game) will gain exempt status as suspended players, leaving 20 players to be moved off the 75-man roster.
