Trevor Davis first of Packers' draft picks to agree to contract

Green Bay — Wide receiver Trevor Davis, a fifth-round pick out of California, became the first Green Bay Packers draft choice to agree to a contract, accepting a four-year offer Thursday afternoon, a source said.

Davis won't be alone for very long, given the Packers were having discussions with all their draft choices in an attempt to get them signed before they hit the field for rookie orientation camp Friday. There's a good chance some won't be signed, but all of the picks will be able to take part due to injury agreements that will protect them financially if they get hurt.
