The Book On Montravius Adams, Packers’ Third-Round Pick

Related Topics: Quarterback sack

You knew the Green Bay Packers were going to add to the defensive line at some point in the draft — they always do — and they did so with their third-round selection. The player is Auburn’s Montravius Adams.

Adams is a large man at 6’4″, 304. At that height, he could even add more weight.

During his senior season, Adams totaled 43 tackles, including eight for loss and four sacks. He also added an interception, forced fumble and two recoveries, while earning second-team All-SEC.

The Packers do need depth on the defensive line. We still don’t know what they have in last year’s first-round pick Kenny Clark or third-round pick Dean Lowry.
