It appears as though former Penn State quarterback Sean Clifford is putting himself in a good position on the Green Bay Packers depth chart as the NFL preseason gets started. An unofficial depth chart released by the Packers this week listed Clifford as the second-string option behind starter Jordan Love.
The Packers make sure to emphasize that this is not a concrete depth chart at this point, but seeing Clifford listed second on the quarterback list behind the team’s franchise quarterback has to be an encouraging sign for the former Nittany Lion.
