A Packers source tells Jason Cole of B/R that they would have “strong interest” in free agent RB Adrian Peterson if his asking price were to come down.
Cole mentions that Green Bay is among the teams who make regular use of a fullback in their offense and could easily find a way to fit Peterson into their offensive attack. Cole adds that the Packers would have happy to have a motivated Peterson on their roster in 2017.
Green Bay has been linked to Peterson in recent weeks, but they elected to pass on bringing him in for a visit.
