Packers Host South Carolina Receiver Xavier Legette For Official Visit

GREEN BAY, WI (WSAU) – The Green Bay Packers have hosted their second top wide receiver for this draft cycle.

According to Justin Melo of The Draft Network, the Green Bay Packers hosted South Carolina wide receiver Xavier Legette for a top 30 visit ahead of this week’s 2024 NFL draft.

Legette who played in 53 games and 32 starts for South Carolina, caught 113 passes for 1,678 yards and 12 touchdowns. After achieving career highs in receptions (73), receiving yards (1,255), and touchdowns (7), he was chosen for the 2023 All-SEC team.

The Packers hosted Alabama star receiver Jermaine Burton earlier this month, and the team is expected to invest a top 100 pick on a wide receiver as the team is looking to find Jordan Love a top go-to option as Christian Watson has struggled to remain healthy due to hamstring injuries.
