GREEN BAY – Green Bay Packers fans should never be surprised when General Manager Brian Gutekunst surprises them.
Exhibit A this year is left tackle Jordan Morgan of Arizona, who the Packers nabbed with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. It was clear the Packers were not conflicted. They made their pick before much of their 10 minutes expired. Offensive linemen were flying off the board Thursday, as were quarterbacks, so the other positions the Packers most want to fill might still have players they want in the later rounds.
