Healthier Clay Matthews could be key for Packers' D against Seahawks

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews didn't think his separated left shoulder would limit him all that much last week against the Houston Texans.

He quickly found out how wrong he was.

"After the first three plays, it wasn't where I was at," said Matthews, who insisted it was his decision to try to play only one week after he sustained the injury on what he called a "cheap shot" block from Philadelphia Eagles lineman Allen Barbre.

Matthews was largely ineffective in what became a limited role.
